New Zealand has a number of respected and self proclaimed people’s champions but who is Otago’s people’s champion. The rider who does the job without any if’s, but’s or maybe’s?
The rider, who turns up, does the hard yards and still finishes in the top 3rd of the field?
A couple of suggestions;
Geoff Keogh – He’s been A grade since most riders were being told to eat all their vegetables.
Chris Henderson – He’s new but who else has gone from limit to scratch in one year and if you go out training with him he’ll half wheel you till you crack Nicccceeeee
Jeff Notman – he never says a word, let alone a bad one.
